Impatient Productions presents
Three-time Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee and very-hard-to-pin-down-indie-underdog-nightmare Josie Long is back with a brand new show after a brief hiatus, during which she had a baby and so on.
It's about the mind-bending intensity of new motherhood, but mostly about kindness, gentleness, and joy - all in all, the edgiest thing you will see this year. The aim is for you to come out of it feeling optimistic about the future, although that is a big ask. At the very least there will be some really silly voices in it, and that's not nothing.
Riotously hilarious... a uniquely optimistic hour of comedy.
This show dances between the apocalyptic and the optimistic...a playful and intelligent hour.
Beautifully written. You leave feeling hopeful ...and a good dose of joy and silliness.
Incredibly funny... a joy throughout.
Her excitability is as infectious as always...explicitly personal and positive... an hour of near constant laughs.
Full of love and defiant joy.
A show about faith and love and a pleasure to watch. Life-affirming in every sense.
Long is as playful and match fit as ever... She is articulate, passionate and intense, but heartwarmingly funny, too.
Energetic act-outs, sweary surprises and dramatic, comedic excitement. There are also moments of real beauty.
We need people like Josie Long now more than ever.
Long's skill as a comedian is undimmed... acutely funny... the laughs keep coming.
A genuine joy to spend an hour with Long.
Her relentless cheeriness would win over even the most cynical of hearts.
You can't argue with a room full of laughter and love.
A cleverly constructed and thoughtful show.
Brilliantly evocative, an original and unflagging spirit.
She's the consummate comedian. A wonderful talent.
Instils her audience with a positive, feelgood feeling.
An absolute delight.
